Distribution: Common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Endemic to Australia, east coast from Bowen in Qld to Sydney NSW.
Ecological Notes: Frequents rocky areas where it is common subtidally.
Additional Notes: Shell heavy, body whorl sculptured with 6 or 7 broad, low, nodulose axial folds, most prominent on shoulder. Colour cream with chocolate brown axial folds. Operculum has prominent coloured bands to help distinguish from related Mancinella alouina. Feeds on barnacles. Grows to a maximum of 38 mm, commonly 25 mm long.
