Distribution: Uncommon to rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed throughout the Western Pacific region. In Australia recorded from north western Western Australia and from north Queensland south to central New South Wales.

Ecological Notes: Specimens pictured discovered on Dendronepthya spp. soft coral host.

Additional Notes: Rarely seen due to superb colouration and camouflage. Specimens pictured around 20 mm in length.
