Distribution: Moderately common throughout the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Family is distributed throughout the Indo-West Pacific region.

Ecological Notes: Found in association with the red gorgonian upon which it feeds.

Additional Notes: An elongated spindle shaped shell characterises the Phenacovolvas. Grows to 28 mm.
