Pellasimnia cf. improcera
(Azuma and Cate, 1971)

Distribution: Uncommon in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed generally throughout Western Pacific, Australia, Phillipines and Japan.

Ecological Notes: Found in association with unidentified red gorgonian. Specimens in photographs recorded depth at around 21 m.

Additional Notes: The shell is yellowish white, with a reddish mantle and yellow compound papillae. Grows to about 32 mm.
