Distribution: Common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Endemic to Australia, recorded from Caloundra in southern Queensland to Woolgoolga New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: Found under rocks on rocky shores, intertidal and subtidal.
Additional Notes: Whorls sculptured with 7 or 8 axial folds per whorl. Surface irregular due to numerous axial growth lines. Columella smooth, aperture, white or yellowish-brown. Light brown externally with a thin brown periostracum. Grows to 37 mm commonly 25 mm in length.
