Diminovula margarita
(G.B. Sowerby II, 1828)

Distribution: Rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed throughout the Indo-West Pacific. In Australia, recorded from northern Queensland to northern New South Wales.

Ecological Notes: Pictured here feeding on Sarcophyton sp. soft coral. Generally a shallow water species.

Additional Notes: Pink shell with white ends, the mantle is transparent with large red margined pink spots. The foot is pale with regular dark reddish stripes. Animals in photograph around 15 mm in length.
