Coralliophila squamosissima
(Smith, 1876)

Distribution: Uncommon or rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Found throughout the Indo-West Pacific. In Australia recorded from around Exmouth in Western Australia, and from southern Queensland to central New South Wales and including Lord Howe Island.

Ecological Notes: Specimen pictured found in rocky/coral reef area at North Solitary Island at a depth of around 12 m.

Additional Notes: Whorls rounded or slightly shouldered, aperture greater than half the shell length. Columella smooth, coloured white internally and externally. Grows to 22 mm.
