Common Name: Leopard Flounder
Distribution: Common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Widespread tropical Indo – Pacific. In Australia recorded from Queensland south to central New South Wales and including Lord Howe Island.
Ecological Notes: Frequents sandy and muddy substrates, estuaries and bays. Depth to 100 m.
Additional Notes: Benthic feeder on small fish and invertebrates. Grows to 39cm.
