Distribution: Possibly common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Recorded from Japan and the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland.

Ecological Notes: Found and thought to feed on hydroids. Depth to at least 21 m.

Additional Notes: Specimen in photograph 12 mm in length.
