Thorunna purpuropedis
(Rudman and Johnson, 1985)

Distribution: Rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Recorded from Port Stephens in central New South Wales, also from Milne Bay in Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Okinawa and the Marshall Islands in the western Pacific.

Ecological Notes: Known to inhabit coral reef and adjacent areas, depth from 4 m to at least 30 m.

Additional Notes: First recorded sighting of this species in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Grows to at least 12 mm long.
