Pleurolidia juliae
(Burn, 1966)

Distribution: Probably common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park but easily overlooked. South Pacific generally, north to Japan.

Ecological Notes: Feeds on hydroids, possibly Solanderia fusca. Depth to at least 25 m.

Additional Notes: Long brown or black body, with black cerata with distinct white tips and usually with a white or pale line on the dorsum. Similar P. atra has black body with long black cerata with less distinct white tips. It grows to at least 35 mm in length.
