Distribution: Possibly common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. In Australia recorded from the Gold Coast in Queensland south to Sydney in New South Wales.

Ecological Notes: Rocky and coral reef, specimens pictured found in depths of 10 m.

Additional Notes: The right claw slightly larger than the left, pale body, claws and legs, all with brown longitudinal stripes, sparsely covered with short hairs. Eyestalks long, pale and with longitudinal dark stripes, antennules bluish with orange flagellum. Carapace with pink blotches. Animal photographed in shell around 2 cm long.
