Pagurixus jerviensis
(McLaughlin and Haig, 1984)

Distribution: Relatively common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed around the south-east coast of Australia, from around Sydney to Western Victoria, and including Maria Island in Tasmania. Records in the Solitary Islands and from Lord Howe Island represent the northern limits known so far.

Ecological Notes: Rocky and coral reef, specimens pictured found in depths to 12 m.

Additional Notes: A small species, the shell diameter around 10 mm.
