Distribution: Sometimes common throughout the Solitary Islands Marine Park, depending upon available food source. Members of the Genus are known from all states of Australia.

Ecological Notes: Feeds on bryozoans. Depth to 109 m but usually about 15 m.

Additional Notes: The animal in the photograph has been identified as Okenia atkinsonorum, which is known from south eastern Australia and possibly northern New Zealand. This small dorid sometimes occurs in large aggregations and can grow to 15 mm.
