Common Name: Lewin’s Honeyeater

Distribution: Locally common on the east coastal regions of Australia, from around Cooktown in north Queensland to around Melbourne in Victoria.

Ecological Notes: Found in coastal rainforests, mangroves, lowland wet forests, coastal heath and tropical gardens.

Additional Notes: Forages high in the canopy for nectar, insects and fruits, will visit gardens with nectar-producing plants.
