Distribution: Status unknown in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Members of the family are distributed widely across tropical northern Australia south to around Sydney.

Ecological Notes: The genus is common in inshore tropical waters, under rocks or in coral rubble.

Additional Notes: Specimen pictured approximately 10 mm carapace width.
