Hypselodoris whitei
(Adams and Reeve, 1850)

Distribution: Not common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Recorded from the tropical Western Pacific region, also Indonesia and Hawaii. In Australia recorded from Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Ecological Notes: Frequents reef areas and known to feed on sponges. 

Additional Notes: Pale cream colour with reticulated purple pattern, orange rhinophores and gills, with whitish tips. Purple edge on mantle and foot. Specimen photographed in intertidal rock pool, approximately 40 mm long.
