Anteaeolidiella indica
(Bergh, 1888)

Distribution: Uncommon within the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Found in Japan, California, Sth Africa, Mediterranean and north east Australia and New Zealand.

Ecological Notes: Found under rocks from inter-tidal areas to a depth of 10m. Feeds on hydroids in inter-tidal areas.

Additional Notes: A distinctive pattern of large white diamond shaped spots mid-dorsally over the orange body characterises this aeolid. The cerata have coloured bases with white points. The oral tentacles are much longer than the rhinophores. Grows to 25mm length.
