The speaker for the next SURG social meeting is Elaine Kwee. Elaine, a one time SURG member, has been involved with Sea Communities at Les Village in Bali for several years.
Sea Communities are involved in various activities including coral reef rehabilitation which two SURG members participated for a week last year. Elaine’s presentation will explore the work they do; how volunteers are helping local people rehabilitate their reefs and subsequently rejuvenating their fishing and tourism livelihoods. The Social meeting will commence at the usual time of 7pm; there will be tea and coffee after as well as the usual raffle. Please bring your keep cup and small change.
