SURG will be active participants in Clean Up Australia Day on 6th March 2016 and will combine the clean up with Debris Surveys.
Most clean up activities focus on easily accessible areas, primarily along the high tide line. Last year Debris Surveys were conducted in areas more difficult to access and this year SURG intends to follow up on these surveys.
All debris collected will be assessed according to composition, density and size.
