Distribution: Not common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Found throughout the South Pacific, from Japan to Australia.
Ecological Notes: Found on coral and rocky reef. Although sometimes found on sponges are thought to feed on small invertebrates such as polychaete worms or flatworms. Depth to at least 20 m.
Additional Notes: Pinkish purple colour with pale edges to the parapodia, which it can vigorously flap to stay suspended in the water column. Grows to 15 mm.
