Distribution: Uncommon in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Found throughout the southern regions of the South Pacific.
Ecological Notes: Found on rocky reef walls from 5 to at least 20 m depth. Probably feeds on other nudibranchs.
Additional Notes: Black body with orange/yellow longitudinal lines and milky green markings between the rhinophores, light green colour at base of gills. Previously classified as Tambja affinis the radula teeth have been used to place this dorid in the Roboastra genus. Roboastra species have large downward pointing oral tentacles which are likely used to track and locate prey. Grows to 70mm.
