Percnon guinotae
(Crosnier, 1965)

Distribution: Uncommon in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed throughout the Indo-Pacific region, from East Africa to the Marquesas, north to Southern Japan, south to Australia. In Australia recorded from around Geraldton in Western Australia, and the southern Great Barrier Reef south to around Sydney in New South Wales.

Ecological Notes: Frequents areas of coral and rocky reefs, usually in small crevices and cracks, depth to 10 m.

Additional Notes: Flattened body mottled green and brown with a red eye, legs with yellow band near tip. Pincers pink. Grows to a carapace width of around 20 mm.
