Distribution: Rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Known from the Western Pacific (New Caledonia), the Seychelles and Malaysia. In Australia recorded from the coast of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: May feed on sponges in the Darwinellidae family. Depth to at least 25 m.
Additional Notes: Yellow or orange mantle with distinctive white reticulate pattern, tips of the rhinophores and gills wine red. The base of the rhinophores appear translucent with a white band midway. Small size, growing to about 15mm only.
