Distribution: Uncommon in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Recorded from Indo-west Pacific, the Philippines and Mauritius. In Australia known from the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland and north western Western Australia.
Ecological Notes: This genus is generally found in low intertidal and shallow subtidal areas, in sandy or muddy substrate or below rocks and coral.
Additional Notes: Carnivorous, thought to feed on sipunculid (Peanut) worms. Specimen pictured discovered in intertidal area on rocky platform and approximately 20 mm in length.
