Distribution: Sometimes common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Thought to be endemic to eastern Australia from Central Queensland to Ulladulla in southern New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: Found inter-tidally and to a depth of 25 m on gravel or reef edge. Feeds on sponges.
Additional Notes: This small dorid has a white mantle with either flat or slightly rounded dark purple spots. The mantle is edged with a gold line or series of gold spots. The foot has a violet margin. Grows to 25 mm.
