Herviella claror
(Burn, 1963)

Distribution: Uncommon to rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Known only from northern New South Wales and southern Queensland.

Ecological Notes: Intertidal, usually under rocks, food source unknown.

Additional Notes: Darkly speckled body and orange subterminal ring on the cerata. Both the pointed oral tentacles and smooth rounded rhinophores are long and both have speckled bases with white tips. A small species, known to grow to 22 mm.
