Graphicomassa ligula 
(Duclos, 1840)

Distribution: Uncommon in Solitary Islands Marine Park. Recorded from the Indo-West Pacific region, more common in tropical waters. In Australia recorded from Fremantle in Western Australia, across the north and rarely south to Sydney on the east coast.  

Ecological Notes: Frequents sand and rubble substrate, intertidal to 15 m depth.

Additional Notes: Colour may be uniformly white, have irregular brown streaks as pictured here or be mottled fawn and white. Previously known as Mitrella albina.

Grows to about 17mm.
