Distribution: Uncommon in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Endemic to New South Wales, recorded from Coffs Harbour south to Jervis Bay.
Ecological Notes: Frequents rocky reef habitat where it feeds on Chelonaplysilla sp. finger sponge. Found to at least 20 m.
Additional Notes: Pinkish red body with numerous dark red spots, each enclosed by a white ring. Mantle has a red margin with yellow band adjoining, gills and rhinophores are white. Note egg mass with large direct developing eggs in bottom photograph. These hatch directly to small snail. Grows to about 20 mm.
