Distribution: Common throughout the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Endemic to eastern Australia, recorded from northern Queensland to southern New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: Frequents areas of rocky and coral reef, rubble areas, often under rocks or slabs. Depth to at least 10 m.
Additional Notes: Dorsum light blue-grey with three broad brown bands and covered in small brown flecks. Base, sides and extremities pale red brown in live specimens, but fade to light brown in dead shells. Teeth coarse, dark red-brown. Pyriform shape, similar E. caurica more cylindrical. Grows to 35 mm in length.
