Distribution: Relatively common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Found in temperate waters around the southern coastline of Australia from Western Australia to northern New South Wales on east coast, and including Tasmania.

Ecological Notes: Depth range to 50 m, known to feed on sponges.

Additional Notes: The whole animal, including rhinophores and gills, is pale to bright yellow, always with rounded white or pale yellow tipped pustules. Gills are retracted in specimen photographed. Grows to 30 mm.
