Distribution: Possibly common in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Known from northern New South Wales south through Victoria to southern Western Australia. 

Ecological Notes: Believed to prey on sponges, known from intertidal to at least 60 m depth.

Additional Notes: Straw or grey colouration with numerous tubercules, each tubercule with at least one dark apical spot. There may also be two patches of brown speckling visible on the dorsal surface, one just behind the rhinophores, another just forward of the gills. Rhinophores and gills the same colour as the body. A small species which grows to around 30 mm but often smaller.
