Distribution: Moderately rare in Solitary Islands Marine Park, and probably at northern extremity of its range. Only known from southern Australia, Fremantle in the west to northern New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: Frequents rocky reef and commonly found on Aplysilla sulfurea, a sponge of similar colour on which it feeds. Depth from intertidal 15 m.
Additional Notes: Vivid yellow body, yellow rhinophores and gills, with orange spots along the mantle margin. Absence of spots on the dorsum distinguishes from other similar species. Grows to at least 18 mm long.
