Distribution: Uncommon in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed throughout the West Pacific region: Philippines, Japan and Australia. In Australia recorded from central Queensland to northern New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: Only found on host soft corals, photographed here on Dendronephthya sp. at a depth of 13 m and 16 m respectively.
Additional Notes: Mantle has fine pink, red or purple net pattern that weaves around tall unbranched white filaments. Members of this family often found on their host soft corals, where they feed and lay their eggs. Specimens in photographs around 13 mm in length.
