Distribution: Unknown status in the Solitary Island Marine Park. The Family may be found throughout coastal Australia and the wider tropical Pacific region.

Ecological Notes: Members of this Family known to feed on sea pens and the soft coral Dendronephthya sp. Depth to at least 35 m.

Additional Notes: Family has many undescribed members, undescribed specimen pictured discovered in shallow subtidal area, length approximately 10 mm.
