Distribution: Uncommon to rare in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distribution unknown but specimens recorded from the east Australia coast at Flinders Reef, the Gold Coast Seaway in Queensland and Nelson Bay in central New South Wales.
Ecological Notes: Dermatobranchus spp. are known to feed on octocorals and often transferred with live coral specimens to aquaria.
Additional Notes: Little is known of this Genus, specimen pictured discovered in intertidal rock pool and was approximately 8 mm in length. Easily overlooked due to small size and preferred habitat.
