Distribution: Uncommon in Solitary Islands Marine Park. Found throughout the Indo-Pacific, Red Sea to Japan. In Australia recorded from north Queensland south to around Shellharbour on the east coast, Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands.
Ecological Notes: Found inter-tidally to a depth of 20 m on reef edges. Feeds on sponges including Halisarca metabola.
Additional Notes: This small dorid has pink tipped tubercules on its dorsum. The colouration varies little, nor does the shape and arrangement of papillae. Rhinophores are long, white and conspicuous. Gills are very small. Grows to 20 mm.
