Distribution: Relatively common throughout the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Distributed throughout the Indo-West Pacific region. In Australia recorded from southern Queensland, northern New South Wales, and Lord Howe Island.
Ecological Notes: Lives among giant anemones where it is found on the oral disc. Feeds on detritus and other material that collects on the disc and tentacles of the anemone.
Additional Notes: Colour is transparent orange, there is a white bar between the pink or orange eyes, as well as the purple and white speckles on the telson, legs and chelipeds. Grows to around 40 mm in length.
