SOLITARY ISLANDS
UNDERWATER
RESEARCH GROUP, INC.

With over 1500 photographs detailing more than 1300 species, this guide showcases a wide selection of invertebrates and fishes from the northern New South Wales coastline. It includes species found in rockpool and shallow offshore environments from Sydney to Tweed Heads (including Lord Howe Island), with a focus on the Solitary Islands off Coffs Harbour.

The author is a scuba diver and rockpool rambler with over 30 years diving experience in Australia and South-East Asia. This work is essentially a citizen science project that originated from efforts to identify many of the creatures photographed over that period and is sure to appeal to beach walkers, rockpool ramblers and scuba divers alike.

A pdf version of the book may be downloaded by contacting info@surg.org.au. and the author will provide a link to a 50mb downloadable copy.
