AGM
Wednesday 20th - 7:00pm

The AGM is approaching and it is a great chance to become an active member of this research group.

You are also welcome to nominate for any positions on the committee: President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Social Co-ordinator Project Officer Expedition Officer General committee member

All of these positions need to be filled for SURG to run efficiently. New committee members who can bring fresh ideas would be very welcome.

Wednesday 11th - 6:30pm

Come along to hear various speakers discuss their involvement in the Solitary Islands Underwater Research Group, its formation and activities. The general public are invited and tea and coffee will be available.

SURG member Jane Graham's recent visits to East Timor and the Philippines will feature, with photos and tales of the sights both above and below the water in these fascinating countries. Come along and see some of the more out of the way dive locations.

Sunday 6th - 10:30am

SURG will be active participants in Clean Up Australia Day on 6th March 2016 and will combine the clean up with Debris Surveys.

Most clean up activities focus on easily accessible areas, primarily along the high tide line. Last year Debris Surveys were conducted in areas more difficult to access and this year SURG intends to follow up on these surveys.

All debris collected will be assessed according to composition, density and size.
