The very successful third annual Coffs Coast Sea Slug Census was held recently, with over 35 participants taking part. Weather, as is sometimes the case, presented a few issues and only some of the offshore islands could be surveyed. Participants more than made up for the lack of access off shore by visiting many of the rock platforms and headlands in the census area, Brooms Head south to Sawtell, and overall, 100 species were recorded, 6 more than last year.
