| Distribution: Only moderately common in the SIMP. Found throughout the Indo-West Pacific. In Australia from central West Australia to southern Queensland. | |||
| Ecological Notes: Frequents coral and rocky reef. | |||
| Additional Notes: Yellowish exterior with fine reddish brown longitudinal lines, two broad black to dark brown bands, one at anterior end, the other bisecting the remaining space. Grows to about 8cm. | |||
