Distribution:  Fairly common at the outer islands of the SIMP. Found throughout the Indo-West Pacific. In Australia from central West Australia to southern Queensland and northern NSW.
Ecological Notes:  Frequents coral and rocky reef, in sand.
Additional Notes:  Straight aperture, orange or red brown exterior with two narrow whitish bands, one at the centre and one on the shoulder. Grows to 6cm long.
