| Distribution: Not common in the SIMP. Most records from the inshore islands. Found throughout the Indo-Pacific. | |||
| Ecological Notes: Usually found in the open on Sarcophyton sp. soft corals upon which it feeds. May be locally common on occasion. | |||
| Additional Notes: This species is characterised by white shell with "toenail" like depressions at each end. The mantle is covered with fine black/brown dots. See also PROS 0023-1. Grows to 40mm. | |||
