Distribution:  Reasonably common around the islands in the SIMP. Found throughout south east Australia.
Ecological Notes:  Found under coral and rocky rubble in areas of coralline algae. Found in depths of 12 to 18 metres.
Additional Notes:  This shell has many colour variations with blood red or green zigzags. See PROS 0017 Grows to 35mm.
