| Distribution: Only one live specimen recorded from the SIMP. Found throughout the Indo-Pacific but considered uncommon. | |||

| Additional Notes: The Skeleton Murex may be more abundant than thought due to its natural camouflage, even when the animal is dead. Is carnivorous. See also PROS 0013-1. | |||
