| Distribution: Recorded at all of the island fringing reefs in the SIMP. Ranges throughout the Indo-Pacific. | |||
| Ecological Notes: A shallow water species found in coral rubble areas to a depth of 15m. | |||
| Additional Notes: The shell is a deep honey colour on the dorsal surface with a fawn underside and purple teeth. The mantle is mottled with dark grey and brown blotches and has long grey or white papillae. Most commonly found as a juvenile, grows to 70mm. | |||
